Ramadan News

On Friday May 26th 2017 at 9 pm, we will pray Salat-ul-Ishaa at Ibaraki Mosque in shaa Allah. Then, we will wait for news about Ru’yat-ul-Hilal (moonsighting). If it is announced that Ramadan will start on Saturday May 27th, we will also pray Taraweeh after Ishaa. If Ramadhan starts May 28th, we will return home after Ishaa and pray our first Taraweeh the following night.

During this Ramadhan, Osaka Ibaraki Mosque will have the following activities in sha Allah:

1. Saturday Iftar
Iftar will be arranged in the Mosque every Saturday.
Mosque committee will prepare utensils (plates, cups and spoons) and provide the dates.
As for Iftar preparation and drinks, the responsibility will be the same as that for Saturday dinner preparation:

* Bangladesh: May 27, Maghrib 7:04 pm - Ishaa 8:40 (1 Ramadan)
* Indonesia: June 3, Maghrib 7:08
 pm - Ishaa 8:46 (8 Ramadan)

* Arab: June 10, Maghrib 7:12 pm - Ishaa 8:50 (15 Ramadan)

* Indonesia: June 24, Maghrib 7:16 pm - Ishaa 8:55 (29 Ramadan)

2. Salat-ul-Fajr is held at Ibaraki Mosque all year. During Ramadan, Iqamah for Fajr will be:

Taraweeh: We will have Taraweeh (night) prayers every night after Salat-ul-Ishaa.
The Iqamah for Salat-ul-Ishaa will be at 9:00 PM

On Saturdays, Imam Mohsen will lead the prayer.

Additional night prayers (Tahajjud) will be held at 1:15-2:15 am. They will be led by the same brothers who lead Taraweeh prayers.

Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiuon

‘Truly, to Allah we belong and truly, to Him we shall return. Sister Kareemah's father past away. He was buried in the Makbara in Hashimoto on 2016.7.8, and the Muslims in Osaka prayed for him after Jumah prayer. May Allah forgive him and grant him Paradise, and comfort the hearts of his family. Ameen.
